Terms of service
Last updated October 13, 2026
Grofly is marketing software for local businesses, run at grofly.io. These are the terms that cover using it. Creating an account means you agree to them. If you are using Grofly for a business, you are agreeing on the business's behalf.
1. Your account
One account per business. You are responsible for everything that happens under your login, so keep the password to yourself and tell us if you think somebody else has it. You have to be at least 18 and using Grofly for a business, not for personal use.
2. What Grofly does
Grofly builds ad cards and social posts from photos and clips you add; runs the ads on Meta from your own ad account; publishes posts to the social accounts you link; scans your service area against public records and mails postcards to the addresses that come out of it; puts the leads that come back into one inbox; and reports on jobs booked. It can also text the people who reach out, with replies written by an AI assistant in your business's name; text back a caller whose call you missed; run search ads on Google; reply to your reviews; and send past customers an offer to come back. Some of that depends on companies we do not control, including Meta, Google, the mobile carriers and the postal service. We do not control their review, their delivery or their timing, and we do not promise leads, bookings or any particular result from an ad, a post or a card.
3. Your content and your accounts
Photos, clips, brand details, contacts and anything else you add stay yours. You give us permission to store them and to use them to run the service for you: to compose cards, posts and captions from them, to print them on postcards, and to send them to the platforms you connect. You confirm you have the right to use what you upload, including the consent of anyone who appears in it. Accounts you link stay in your name and you can disconnect them at any time.
To improve the ad suggestions Grofly makes, we may use patterns combined across businesses in the same trade: which kinds of ad and post (for example a before and after, or an offer) tend to bring leads, and at what cost per lead. A pattern is only used when it combines at least five businesses, and it never includes your ads, photos, clips, words, name, customers or contact details.
4. You are the advertiser and the sender
Everything that goes out goes out in your name. You approve every post and ad before it goes out, and you choose which automatic replies and reminders are switched on. You must hold the licenses your state requires, and where the law requires a license number on advertising we print it on the card. You must comply with the advertising, telemarketing and messaging law that applies to you. Grofly refuses claims that cannot be substantiated and includes an opt-out in the first text to each person and in every reminder or offer, and those refusals are not something you can switch off.
5. Fees, mail and payment
The plan is $499 a month, billed monthly by card. Payments are handled by Stripe and we never see your full card number. The plan covers ads, posts, video, generated pictures and lead texting, and includes no direct mail. Where VIP lead finding is live for an area and a trade, it is an optional add-on at $399 a month on top of the plan, at one price, with a limited number of spots per ZIP code and per trade; it is billed monthly by card the same way as the plan and ends the same way when cancelled. VIP includes 50 pieces of direct mail a month, the whole ranked list every quarter; included pieces reset on the first of the month and do not carry over. Pieces you buy as a top-up do not expire while your account is open. If you start on a free trial of the plan it runs for 7 days; unless you cancel before it ends, the plan then starts and the card you gave at checkout is charged. You can also start the plan early from the Billing page. Texting needs a one-time $99 registration with the mobile carriers, charged when you submit it; reviews and any resubmissions are included. If we never file the registration, the $99 is refunded in full. Once it is filed, the $99 is not refunded, because it pays the carriers' fees. Ad spend is billed by Meta or Google directly to your card and never passes through us. If prices change we will tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to you.
6. Cancelling
There is no contract and no minimum term. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing month you cancel in. The current month's fee is not refunded. Mail you have bought stays usable until the account closes. When the account closes, linked accounts are disconnected. To have your content deleted, ask us and we delete it, as the privacy policy says.
7. What we do not promise
Grofly is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and correct, and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of faults. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, including lost profits or lost jobs, and our total liability to you for anything arising from the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
8. Suspension
We can suspend or close an account for non-payment, for abuse of the service or of other people through it, or for use that breaks the law. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email the address on your account at least 30 days before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute is heard in the courts there.
